Rules

Knowledge of these rules is the responsibility of each contestant.

1. Rules:  The following rules for the tournament will be interpreted solely by the tournament director

2.  Eligibility:  18yrs. of age and older, who have paid appropriate entry fees. Persons under 18 may fish with a parent or legal guardian.

3. All dept. of conservation and water patrol rules apply.

4. Only Large mouth  Bass, Kentucky and Small Mouth will be weighed. Five (5) fish limit per team. All fish will measure 13 on Pomme. Any iced or mangled fish presented at weigh in will result in disqualification. 

5. There will be a one (1) pound penalty per dead fish. Penalty will be deducted from total weight.

6.  There will be a 1 pound penalty per short fish and loss of fish.

7. Any boat late for weigh in means disqualification. Chip must be turned in at the weigh in table by 3:00 pm.

8. Protest will be made in written form within 10 min. of conclusion of weigh in.

9. All ties will be broken by earliest entry.

10. Big Bass: One (1) Big bass place will be paid.

11. Pay Backs: Will pay 1 place for every 5 entries.

12. Polygraph: All contestants, by signing the entry form, consent to receive a voice stress or polygraph test. Anyone who fails the test will be immediately disqualified. 

13. Tackle and equipment: Only artificial lures and pork style baits are allowed. No live bait. No trolling. No strolling. All bass must be caught on rod and reel. Each contestant can only use one rod and reel at a time.

14. No trailering of a boat at any time during during the tournament.

15. Life jackets must be worn when boat is on plane.

16. No fishing within 50 yards of any gas pump or within 50 yards of another contestants boat at anchor.

17. Departure will be in sequence in which entries are received.
